A sensible man watches for problems ahead and prepares to meet them. The simpleton never looks, and suffers the consequences. Proverbs 27:12

This verse talks about the importance of planning ahead. if you plan ahead you’ll be able to meet the financial challenges that come up in your life, or be able to retire with enough savings in the bank. Without planning you’ll live a much tougher existence in the long run, and you will suffer the consequences.
