Outward has announced that it is closing its Aperture program on its website in the following statement:
“Due to challenging economic shifts, it is with deep regret and a heavy heart that we have come to the difficult decision to wind down the Aperture Platform and services.
First and foremost, we are so grateful to all of our customers for taking such a leap of faith in the unique Aperture Platform and the revolutionary concept it represents. It has been truly amazing to see how you’ve all used Aperture to reach new heights in visual content creation and efficiency. Your advocacy, support, and feedback throughout have been pivotal, and continue to be so heartening. Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts.
To our partners, we thank you for your continuous support, especially in helping us get to market in such challenging times in an amazingly resourceful way, and for sharing the vision we’ve had to proliferate the benefits of the Aperture Platform across the industry and the globe.
We sincerely apologize for the potential disruption and stress this may cause, and will be putting in every possible effort in the coming weeks and months to make the transition and phase-out process go as smoothly as possible.”
The Outward Aperture program was designed to help home furnishings companies and retailers streamline and edit photography.
