Futurecard has added it’s first transfer partner in Amtrak with a 1:1 transfer rate. You do need to transfer a minimum of 5,000 points at a time. Normally points are worth 1¢ each, Amtrak points are normally worth more than 1 a point so could be useful for some people. For hose unfamiliar the Future card earns at the following rates:

Wells Fargo has added Virgin Red & Virgin Atlantic Flying Club as a 1:1 transfer partner. One unique thing about this is there is no minimum amount of points that need to be transferred across, you can transfer a single point for example.

Update 9/26/24: Those who have this card are getting an email that it will be changed to a Freedom Unlimited card on October 7, 2024 as the Freedom Student is being discontinued. (ht avsterbone) Presumably this card is being discontinued in favor of their newer Freedom Rise card.

Chase will launch a new Freedom Student card on June 9th. (All this information comes from an anonymous source.)
Chase currently does not have any student card, and it’s interesting to see them break into that market. The $20 annual bonus for 5 years + $50 initial bonus makes the signup bonus basically the equivalent of a 15,000 bonus with no spend requirement which isn’t bad for a no-fee student card.
I’m a bit surprised the card won’t have the 5% rotating categories; from what I can tell, even after graduation all card details will remain the same (other than the $20 annual bonus which ends after 5 years) with no 5% categories. For comparison, Discover’s IT Student card does have the same 5% rotating benefit as the regular Discover IT card.
Overall, a solid new option for students to get started with. Other good options for students include the Discover IT card (student version) or the Citi Rewards+ Student card.

Currently the AmEx EveryDay & AmEx EverDay Preferred are not accepting new applications with all landing pages including referrals resulting in errors (looks like the Cash Magnet card is also resulting in errors).
I suspect these cards are either being discontinued entirely or are being refreshed and applications will go live again once the changes are announced. American Express said they would refresh 40 products this year and earlier this year the card designs on these cards were updated. If I had to guess it would be on these cards being refreshed.

Getting 20,000 Ultimate Rewards points for booking a $500 stay can be an excellent deal. The 10,000/$400 offer is nice as well. A lot of people are having success inputting their card info on the above pages and finding their Chase cards targeted for one of these offers.

The American Express Hilton Aspire card offers a $200 semi annual resort credit. It seems what is defined as a resort has been tightened and only properties appearing on this list will trigger the credit. Some properties that appear on the official resort page will not trigger the credit.
Previously the American Express Aspire landing page linked to the official resort page, but it now links to the more restricted Aspire resort page. There are ~260 properties on the Aspire page and 300+ on the official resort page. There is also at least one datapoint of a property appearing on the official resort page and not on the Aspire resort page not triggering the credit.

Currently American Airlines has two issuers of credit cards: Barclays & Citi. Barclays. This stems back from when Barclays issued the US Airways credit cards and American Airlines acquired US Airways in 2013, the deals were then renewed in 2016. Barclays is allowed to advertise inflight/in airports and Citi has the rest of the acquisition channels.
CNBC is now reporting that American Airlines & Citi are in talks for Citi to become the sole issuer of the American Airline cards in a new long term deal. When the US Airways merger was under way American Airlines did offer Citi the ability to become the sole issuer, this would have also allowed Citi ThankYou points to transfer to American Airlines as well but Citi was unhappy with the asking price. It seems if the deal is completed that Citi would also purchase the back book from Barclays.

Grocery deals are always nice. This one has a respectable $30 max cashback for some real savings.
Frequentmiler notes that there’s also a Rakuten in-store cashback offer for Stop & Shop, as well a SimplyMiles offer. Those two run on the same network so you’ll have to choose which one of those you want.
