In our latest real estate tech entrepreneur interview, we’re speaking with Eve Picker from Small Change.
Who are you, and what do you do?
I’m Eve Picker, the founder and CEO of Small Change. Small Change is an impact investing platform that focuses on transformative real estate projects – and it allows anyone over the age of 18 to invest.
What problem does your product/service solve?
We provide access to socially responsible real estate investment opportunities to everyone over the age of 18.
We provide a tool for developers to engage community members in a meaningful way by letting them invest in them.
And most importantly, we help bring transformative projects to fruition.
What are you most excited about right now?
Impact investing is growing in leaps and bounds. The democratization of finance is growing in leaps and bounds. When you combine those two trends, I think we’re on the precipice of large-scale change that will completely reorient the economy. That is exciting.
What’s next for you?
We are growing. We are expanding our slate of offerings and looking at new opportunities in new cities. And we’ll be offering some meaningful Opportunity Zone Funds investments to our crowd soon.
What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?
I’m passionate about cities and real estate. I’m fortunate enough to have built a business that truly reflects my personal passions.
