Sixteen homes around the country faced off for the honor of being crowned the ultimate luxury listing.
From the very start of this year’s tournament, the lakeside looker in Lake Geneva, WI has taken the lead. This home won 86 percent of the vote in its first-round match up against the stately Georgian revival in Shaker Heights, OH, and took the Midwest region championship in round 2 with 68 percent against its Boyne City, WI rival.
Round 3 was a closer contest, but the Wisconsin wonder still pulled out a victory with 54 percent of the votes over the sprawling Mediterranean estate in Gold Canyon, AZ.
Finally, this gorgeous home swept the final round, winning 70 percent of the vote against the out-of-this-world Jupiter, FL villa to take the title of Mansion Madness 2017 Champion.
What is it about this home that made it such a hit with voters? Perhaps it’s the 464 feet of lake frontage on five acres.
Or maybe it’s the great room’s ornate ceilings and hand-carved white marble fireplace.
Or the custom mahogany bar?
Or the master suite, with its grand bathroom?
With 11,000 square feet, this 5-bedroom, 10-bath home has something for everyone, including a library with leather flooring, a game room, and a sauna. The generous property boasts a 40-foot in-ground pool with hot tub and pool house, plus a sandy beach and a private pier with four boat slips.
Stunning inside and out, this home has everything it takes to be crowned a champion.
