Who doesn’t want to make money in the comfort of their own home? Thanks to the Internet, there are hundreds of ways that you can make money, just by clicking your mouse. There are hundreds of different ways, and one of the most popular ways is to participate in one of the many survey sites, like InboxPays.
InboxPays is a “Get Paid To” website, which allows you to rack up points for doing a variety of different things. At their heart, InboxPays is a market research site, and they are pretty new to the market. While they are still in their infant stages, they have several advantages that you should take note of when you’re looking to make some extra cash.
InboxPays is owned and operated by A & A marketing, a company that is based out of Chicago. While they are listed on the Better Business Bureau website, they don’t have an accreditation from them, which is not a major red flag. The other well respected survey sites like MySurvey and PineconeResearch are not accredited by the BBB either, so do not be alarmed.
InBoxPays is a legitimate website that will pay you money for your survey completing efforts, but there are quite a few drawbacks to the program that you should be aware of before you sign up.
Getting Started with InboxPays
Like most survey sites that you can choose, signing up for InboxPays is very easy, and you can get started in a matter of minutes. When you sign up for the program, they are going to ask several simple questions. Like most websites, they are going to ask your name and date of birth, but they will also some more personal questions, like your zip code, gender, and your phone number. It can be a little odd to have a website ask your address and phone number, but InboxPays is not looking to scam you in any way. The reason that they ask personal questions, like your age and gender, is to determine which surveys that you’ll qualify for. Businesses are looking for opinions and answers from their target audience, which means InboxPays needs to determine which demographics you fit into.
After you’ve completed the signing up process, you’ll be rewarded with $5, right off the bat. That’s not a bad little bonus, just for a couple of minutes of your time. After that, you’re ready to start earning money through InboxPays.
Making Money and Cashing Out with InboxPays
The bread and butter of InboxPays are going to be their surveys. There is nothing incredibly special about InboxPays that sets them apart from their competitors. The process is straightforward. You’ll get an invitation to complete a survey that you qualify for, you enter the survey, they will ask you basic questions to ensure that you do qualify, and then you’ll take the survey. After that, you’ll be awarded some cash. It’s as simple as that.
Unlike other programs on the Internet, there are several ways that you can make money with InboxPays other than just taking surveys. One additional way that you can make money with InboxPays is their email program. They will send you around three emails every day, and you’ll get paid to read those emails (and click on the link that’s inside of the email). These are advertisement emails send from companies that work with InboxPays. Sure, it’s annoying spam, but you get paid a quarter for every email that you open.
Another way for you to boost your earnings with InboxPays is to use their referral program. If you get friends to joining (or even someone that you don’t know), you’ll get 10% of everything that they earn when they cash out their rewards. This is an excellent way to make some extra money, just by getting other people to join. More than likely, you know a few people that are looking to make some extra cash in their spare. It’s a win-win.
One of the most fun ways to earn money is by playing their “Spin Wheel,” which gives you the chance to earn a variety of different prizes based on chance. For every survey that you finish, you’ll get to spin the wheel. You’ll also get two free spins just for completing the registration process. There is no guarantee how much you’ll make from the wheel, but it’s free money, plus it’s fun to play.
Advantages of InboxPays
There are a few factors that sets InboxPays apart from all of the other survey sites. One of those is the referral program that they offer. Some sites don’t have any bonuses for getting your friends to sign up, but with InboxPays, you can make some serious dough. This is a quick and easy way for you to jumpstart your extra money from the site.
Another of the benefits of InboxPays is how quickly you can get started with the program. Just like the majority of other sites that you can choose from, they make it as quick and simple as possible but even compared to some of the other options, InboxPays makes it very straightforward. Additionally, you’ll also get $5 just for signing up. Most of the other survey sites don’t offer any bonus for creating a profile. Sure, it’s only $5, but it’s only going to take you a couple of minutes to finish.
Their spin wheel is a nice added benefit that you won’t find at any of the other sites. More than likely, the spin wheel is not going to break your bank with cash, but it’s a fun and easy way to earn some extra money, just by simply clicking. You can win a lot of extra money from these spins, and the more surveys that you finish, the more spins that you’re going to get.
Disadvantages of InboxPays
On the other side of the coin, there are going to be some drawbacks to the policy as well. One of the disadvantages of InboxPays is the “paid offers” that they offer. These are advertisements that you can join, and you’ll earn money for them. The problem is that a lot of them are just trying to get your credit card information.
Another major red flag of InboxPays is their stance privacy. When you join InboxPays, you agree to their privacy contract, which states that they are not going to sell your information to any other sites, but that is not 100%. They have partnerships with a lot of other businesses that they are going to give your information to, but the agreement is that the other companies are going to keep your information confidential.
You’ll also run into the high threshold for cashing out. Just about every survey site is going to have a requirement on how much money you have to accumulate before you can request a cashout. With InboxPays, you’ll have to collect at least $50 before you can have your money transferred to PayPal. This is significantly higher than most of their competitors. The majority of other sites will only require you to earn around half of that before you can get your money.
While I’m on the subject of the payouts, another disadvantage is the limitations on how you can get your money. They only use PayPal (which isn’t a major inconvenience), and they will only payout to their members on the 1st and 15th of every month and in multiple of $50. Additionally, they have a 30 day waiting period that starts from the time that you request the payout.
InBoxPays – What You Need to Know
As I mentioned, there are dozens and dozens of different task websites that you can choose from. All of them are going to give you a different amount of rewards for your time. InBoxPays is not going to break your bank with extra cash. They don’t offer the largest rewards, but they are not the smallest. If you’re looking for the best option, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
There are a few too many red flags for me to comfortably recommend InBoxPays. Between their privacy problems and their restrictions on getting paid, there are plenty of other better options for making money in your spare time.
Best Survey Sites
If InBoxPays doesn’t work well for you, don’t worry, there are plenty of other options, and I’ve reviewed lots of those survey sites. Everyone wants to earn some extra money, and there are hundreds of ways that you can do that. Instead of wasting hours of time and effort joining all of the sites, I’ve compiled some of the best online surveys.
On the Best Survey Sites page, I’ve outlined several programs and detailed different factors of each site. On that page, you’ll be able to see how each survey sites pays their customers, if they reward cash or points, and how you can redeem those points. There are some drastic differences in how each company manages their reward system, and some of them are a lot better than others. Don’t worry about spending hours and hours joining all of the programs just to realize that they aren’t worth the trouble. I’ve done all of that hard work for you. If you want to make money by completing survey sites, I highly suggest that you take advantage of this page.
