If you’re a United Airlines elite member like me, you probably haven’t received any United luggage tags since 2019. Luckily, that’s changing, though you’ll have to request one to get via mail this time.
Premier Silver, Gold, Platinum and 1K members who met the 2022 status requirements can request a newly branded complimentary luggage tag made from recycled materials through the airline’s website.

How to order a United Airlines bag tag
It’s easy to order a United Airlines luggage tag. First, sign into your MileagePlus account and navigate to the My United home screen. Select “View Premier status tracker.”
A new tab will open, taking you to United’s new Premier status tracker. If this is your first time here, you’ll see a welcome letter from CEO Scott Kirby and a welcome video. You’ll also be able to request luggage tags, which United will send to the address on your MileagePlus account within eight to 10 weeks.

Physical membership kits haven’t been sent out — and likely won’t be sent out — to its record number of Premier members this year.
